Creating Change And Getting Un Stuck

Creating Change and Getting Un-Stuck
by Jodie Warmuth

There comes a point in many of our lives when we look around and wonder, “Is this it?” We go through the motions, hold everything together, check all the boxes—and still feel like something’s missing. If that sounds familiar, I see you. I’ve been there, too.

For a long time, I felt stuck. I was busy, but not fulfilled. Capable, but not creatively lit up. It wasn’t until I started channelling my creativity—through handmade crafts, jewelry, and design—that I began to reconnect with a sense of purpose. It didn’t come all at once, and it wasn’t perfect, but it was real. It gave me momentum. It reminded me that creating isn’t just about making pretty things—it’s about making meaning. And sometimes, it’s the way we start to get unstuck.

Here’s the truth: so many women are out here doing a million invisible things—coordinating family life, folding laundry, managing appointments, keeping everyone afloat—and still questioning their worth. But what if we stopped minimizing those talents? What if folding the perfect swan napkin wasn’t a silly party trick, but a spark of artistry? What if we treated our everyday magic as proof that we’re capable of so much more?

That’s the heart behind Jodie Warmuth Designs. Yes, I love creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces—but I’m also here to create change. I want to help women rediscover their spark. To take that thing you’re quietly great at and say, “Hey, what if it all works out?” What if this one tiny act of creativity leads to something bigger, brighter, more joyful than you ever imagined?

And I don’t want to do it alone.

I dream of building a community where we celebrate each other’s small wins and gigantic leaps. Where we lift each other up—for finally trying something new, for making something by hand, for starting over, or even just for making it through the day. I’m also working on launching a Spruce Grove Social Club—a local space for connection, collaboration, and creativity, because we need more places where women can show up exactly as they are and feel supported.

So if you’re feeling stuck, let this be your reminder: you are not alone, you are wildly capable, and you are already doing more than you realize. Start with one creative act. One small step. And remember—what if it does all work out?

Let’s create something beautiful. Together.
